Dedicated two days to this beach area for its quiet and spacious setting. Lots of beach to go around and good food at the local grill.Full review by GibsonExplorer16
We are stopping in St Maarten with a Royal Caribbean cruise in October with a group of 7. We’d like to visit Mullet Bay and am wondering how much a taxi ride from the cruise port would be as I can’t seem to find a common answer. Would a private taxi be a better option?

I've never taken a taxi between these two destinations, but I've been to St Martin many times. We don't rent a car, and therefore always use a taxi. This is very likely between $30-40 one way. Driver rates do vary. There's no meters, it's a quoted rate. Rarely a rate below $20, even for short trips. It's only $50 from airport over to French Cul de Sac. So, can't imagine your trip is over $40, and I'd expect closer to $30. I usually give a modest tip.
Are there any bathroom facilities around Mullet Bay, besides a port a potty. We will be going with a few people and I know that some of them will not be happy with only a port a pt.
