We went to the top, but we were not hiking. Anyone can do this. There are several different tickets for this day trip. You take the cable car and stop off in the middle section then get it up to the top section then walk up to the highest point to take a photo in the glass cubicle area. We were there a good 5 hours. We did see small groups of organised hikers going up and were hiking on the snowy slopes. You must check this with the organised tours from Mont Blanc they will be able to help you. I saw some people once reaching the top on the cable car couldn't then walk up further due to breathlessness and dizziness.
Can I buy Mont Blanc multi 1 day pass onsite or we have to book online in advance? Do we need to book cable car spots in advance if we plan to visit in the afternoon? Is it possible to do both Aguilar du midi and montvers in half day in the afternoon ? When do we need to arrive to cover both? Thanks

We arrived first thing at 10am and purchased a ticket and got straight on the next ride up, which were about every. You would need to do all 3in the morning as last one back is 16.30 …
