The day we went the weather on the beach was unpleasant—very windy and cold despite it being sunny and 75 degrees in Kodiak. So we didn’t walk the beach like we would have otherwise. There was a seal…Full review by MyDogDidTime

Fossil Beach is off a dirt road but had no issues driving a car out there and a little hike to the beach was not “treacherous” not an easy one if you have issues but it wasn’t difficult for this clum…Full review by babyblue2212

It was nice to take the longish drive to the sourthern most part of the road from Kodiak. And we were surprised to find it located right by a US missle station, presumably there for proximity to Rus…Full review by Wanderer33

Start in downtown at the Harbor which is a fun place to walk around. Benches by the harbor to watch boats going in and out. The Old Russian church is there, which is lovely to visit, …

Start in downtown at the Harbor which is a fun place to walk around. Benches by the harbor to watch boats going in and out. The Old Russian church is there, which is lovely to visit, as is the Kodiak Museum. Have lunch at the Sushi place under the bridge and then cover over the bridge and hike or walk through Near Island, which is cool, beautiful. You can hike down to the water which is another good place to appreciate the scenery. Then have dinner at the Sushi place again. Not kidding. That restaurant is that good.
