Hangzhou, formerly romanized as Hangchow, is the capital and largest city of Zhejiang Province, China. With a population of 13 million, the municipality comprises ten districts, two counties, and one county-level city in northwestern Zhejiang. Located at the head of Hangzhou Bay and the estuary of the Qiantang River, the Hangzhou metropolitan area is one of the core metropolis in Yangtze Delta.
