This is a famous house, famous for Hemingway,and famous for 6 toed cats. We visit here every trip to Key West. We love playing with the 6 toed cats.Full review by Travel25346533585

30 minutes, maybe 45 if lots of questions and tour groups clog up the hallways

We did walk by before we visited and one can only see a few glimpses, given the wall and all the trees. The writer built the high wall to keep curiosity seekers at bay when he lived there and it still works today. But, well worth the fee to visit the museum.

Are the cats inside and outside? Would someone allergic to cats be advised to avoid this attraction?
A:
Yes cats are everywhere! They are well behaved and it encouraged not to pet them but if allergic then maybe it’s not a good idea.
