It's the center of this small town, a pretty square with landscaping in the center and lots of shopping and eating all around. Events are held here. Also just a good place to spend some time. More…Full review by Thomas V
Two 60 yr old women that would like to leave the rental car at hotel and walk and enjoy eating and drinking in a cute plaza. Sonoma or Healdsburg? Don’t want to put all the budget in fancy accommodations, rather spend it on experiences.

That is one of the toughest questions ever! Both Sonoma and Healdsburg have lovely squares with lots of amazing dining and drinking options. Sonoma's a bit quieter, low key. Warmer. Mission and lovely salt-box structures. That said, Healdsburg may have a few more dining options. Great music on the Plaza. Feels more European than just about any US small town I've ever visited. Healdsburg may have a few more budget-friendly lodging options but probably not within walking distance of hotel. Hotels on square pricey in both. Try off-season?
My boyfriend challenged me to do 20 paintings in 30 days, and I did it. I was wondering if I can display 20 paintings 10"x10" at the square, so my friends and people can hear my story and see what I did, without getting in trouble. Thank you!
