The woodwork and detail to everything put into this house is beautiful. The story behind it is very informative. The luxury bathroom with the big tub is impressive. Self guided 2 story home. Full review by Lynette51

Loved everything about this and the Flavel House is a must see if you are in Astoria. Beautifully curated with original objects and furnishings from the Flavel family. Full review by Discover586601

The Carriage House where you must buy tickets is a bit of an uphill hike from the entrance to the Flavel House. If you arrive by auto I suggest you park up at the Carriage House to purchase tickets and see the historical video.I agree with others that the first floor was very worthwhile.I did not accompany my wife to the second floor area but thoroughly enjoyed sitting and talking with the knowledgeable volunteer from the Astoria Historical Society.
I do not know if they are open tomorrow. They only serve tea to cruisers who have signed up for the tea and scones excursion. The museum is open daily but not for tea.
