Hi we did the Dylan’s famous tour in 2018 and want to do it again this year. Has it changed slightly because I’m confused as to which I booked last time. It doesn’t matter I know which I want to book just a bit confused.

December 2023: It’s a little bus tour around the city, stop at Palace of the Fine Arts, stop off at the bridge then over the bridge up to Muir woods monument, then to Sausalito for food, little bus tour around the area, then hop back on bus back to do a few more stops of the city then drop off at the bus to go to Alcatraz which is optional to add onto the tour, hope this helps!
We are planning to book this on March 26, the One Day Tour in San Fransisco with Alcatraz. What does it mean that it will be abbreviated during this time?

Hi, We opted to do a half day tour with Dylan's and booked the Alcatraz tour separately using the firm that they recommended. There is only so much that you can do in a limited time frame, but our guide (Desmond) did a great job of showing us a broad range of highlights in the city, and enhanced that with a thoughtful and knowledgeable commentary based on his intimate knowledge of the place. He also put together a great San Francisco based soundtrack! We also arranged with him to drop us directly at the ferry terminal for the Alcatraz trip to make the best use of our time. As per the previous comment - Dylans were very responsive when we were booking the tour and helped us to put together a list of things to see in advance. Highly recommended!
Just curious - how many passengers might I expect to be with on the SF - Sausalito tour?

We did the Sausalito Muir Woods tour; this tour my husband and myself picked up our bikes at Dylan and independently rode to Sausalito and from there met the rest of the group (about 15) and took a van to Muir Woods and independently walked the national park. This tour was more independent, during the van ride the tour guide gave us some very insightful comments. Enjoy and they are the best tour company in SF!
I have taken the E-bike city loop tour before and will be returning in a few months to do it again. 5 stars!! Has anyone taken a tour with Dylan’s and NOT had to wear a helmet? I know, I know...safety and all. I felt very safe on the tour, but I HATED the helmet for various reasons I won’t go into. Lots of pictures on their website of people riding without helmets. I don’t think there is a city law

We did wear helmets as, visiting from Ireland where it is compulsory to wear helmets, we were used to wearing them, but they did say that we didn’t have to wear them. Such great fun!
