The sunset was beautiful and you could hike up the side of the mountain to sit and watch. Very peaceful. You can also drive the road below however we just parked and hiked for the sunset.Full review by Nichole F

Have a drive out on the W Gates Pass road. Its a lovely scenic drive with view points and short walks. The whole road will only take you about 20mins one way. Its free and in some parts as good as Sa…Full review by BarryandNicolaG

We have taken a lot of guests of a lot of ages over a lot of years over this road. I cannot remember anyone getting carsick. Whether one individual would get carsick, I cannot say. It does go up and down round and round and winds and winds with very sharp curves. If you get carsick easily or if this sentence made you visualize carsickness, best not to chance it. You could not wish for a more beautiful drive.
