Nice to see sand dunes, and walk a long way into that landscape; safe, (get on a sand dune top and look for the parking area). Kids will love it.Full review by Henk G

This is an amazing place to see the sunrise. We saw many animals tracks like the Roadrunner, but we saw no animals. Walking on the sand barefoot feels amazing you should try it!Full review by Quest13486160352

Is the dunes accessible by car?

Yes, there is a pullout and small parking lot adjacent to the dunes. You can walk out as far as you'd like or take pictures from the car. 4wheel drive is not needed.

Hi, yes you can, there is a paved car park just off the main road and it is then a short walk of about 100 yds to the star tof the dunes themselves.
