We started at a great venue called The Rustic (I went back there for food and live music another night with Co workers and it was a fun place ), where we sampled some brunch type foods, then to a Moroccan middle Eastern place with their ethnic food. Then we walked for some time enjoying the architecture a d history, took a trolley as well so not all walking. We visited a tacos and tequila place and then a French pastry bakery for macaroons. I loved this tour and really enjoyed the food, met great people as I was alone for business, history of the area etc. Jim was a great guide. Also if in Dallas please visit Pioneer Plaza to see the lifelike Bronze sculptures of a long horn cattle drive. I thought this was amazing. JFK museum also so historical. Have fun! I had way more fun than I thought I was going to have. Donna

Is this very kid friendly? I think my husband and I would love this but we do have an 8 year old. I saw where you don't charge for under 12 but will he get anything out of it? He's well behaved and never a problem, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't frowned upon.

Thank you for the question! Although our tours are recommended for children over 12, we do sometimes have children that come along with their families. Parents have been known to share their tastings…or purchase a more kid friendly item at a restaurant. Our tour guides always make sure everyone is having a great experience…younger kids included! Take a look at our Facebook album of April 26, 2015 as an example. If you were to purchase, please make a notation on the booking so that we are aware.
