Rochester Area CRIME STOPPERS was formed in 1983 as a 501 c 3 non-profit by a group of local business owners, in partnership with the media and representatives of law enforcement, all dedicated to keeping our community safe. CRIME STOPPERS proudly supports multiple initiatives including the Reward Fund; Anonymous Tip Line and P3 App; Felony Fugitive Flyer and Crime Watch; K9 Initiative; First Responders Scholarship for college students; Good Citizen Award for high school students; and partnering with schools in underserved populations to strengthen communication with law enforcement by providing financial support for educational and after school activities.
