Chester Township is a township in Wabasha County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 470 at the 2000 census. Chester Township was organized in 1858. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.5 square miles ; 35.4 square miles of it is land and 0.04 square miles of it is water. The township contains one property listed on the National Register of Historic Places: the 1874 Bear Valley Grange Hall, which now serves as the town hall.
