Dear People: While I have looked on the official site for Domitilla Catacomb tours, I am confused if we need to purchase tickets in advance or is pre-purchase only for groups. We are a couple who intend to visit in the later part of October 2018. Thank you so much for your time! Sincerely, Jennifer

We found it easy to buy on arrival - we went later afternoon in late Oct (UK half term week) no problem or waiting around at all. Enjoy!

My husband and I booked our trip to Italy through Monograms, and once in Rome our local representative for this tour company had a number of excursions available including the one we took to the Catacombs. Transportation was provided as part of the excursion. While my husband and I enjoy walking and found Rome an easy city to negotiate to get from one attraction to the next on foot, I would recommend either purchasing s local map showing bus routes or using Google maps, etc to assist with your navigation in the city. Njoy your vacation and visit to this site.
