Hello I was looking at doing the walk with my dad but he is in a wheel chair - anybody who has been can you tell me what the surface of the path is? I don’t mind about the incline I can get him up there if the wheels will be able to move along the surface. I was looking at troll cars but think they are all booked up unless I can book them on the day. He can get out to do steps if it’s just a few it’s just distance he can’t do. Thanks

We walked the entire way but I think it would be a herculean task to push a wheelchair over the walking path as far as the glacier. I seem to recall that there are also a few transition sections with steps to traverse that may be a challenge for your Dad. I'm not sure if you can book the Troll cars on the day as we didn't use them, but based on Richie B's reply below, even that may be a challenge for you. One point worth making is that there is a spectacular waterfall part of the way (about half way?) along the path which I noticed some people stopped at as their final destination - may be worth considering? Hope that's helpful. Even the distant views of the glacier are worth seeing from the path, so good luck with whatever you decide.
