Stopped in for a couple of hours to check this spot out. Property is nicely presented-new sidewalks, kitty cats here and there, water features, gift shop and of course the views. Reasonable entry fee.Full review by theoljohnnyboy

From the cute little shop to the amazing views and climbing on the rock we had so much fun at here. Nice to see the history and the people were super helpful and loved the cats!!Full review by jenniferwF4857HO

Is the visit to the blowing rock site too difficult to negotiate for seniors with mobility issues?

There are a few areas with steps but otherwise it is pretty flat, especially to the main viewing area.

Google it. I don't take my dog with me on trips. Therefore I wouldn't have a clue who's pet friendly or not.

In addition to the above suggestions, there are also lots of gem mining places that kids enjoy.

Are leashed pets allowed? Are they allowed on the Blue Ridge Parkway and trails?

Yes pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash and you pick up the waste at The Blowing Rock park. As for the Blue Ridge Parkway, pets are also welcomed.

How much time should i plan to see everything at the park
A:
I would plan an hour. It's a beautiful park and a great place to take pictures. The park itself isn't that big. Enjoy the views!
