This zoo is giant - almost overwhelmingly so. We had to give up on seeing everything because we'd already been there almost 5 hours. We especially loved seeing the polar bears, spectacled bear, snow …Full review by Katie H

Zoo is huge, but not well signposted relative to other international zoos. On a hot sunny day we went to enjoy the splash park, which was to be honest quite underwhelming. Kids were covered in sand…Full review by Kunal K

Roughly about 20 minutes on the U-bahn , then 20 minutes easy walk. as you get out of the station , you will see a green space behind you with a 24 hour chemist ,Go to the main road turn left ,you will see a ALDI on the right , then at the next main road turn right you will see the tramline . The entrance is set back on the left hand side of the road about 5 minutes walk from the road junction opposite the Tram stop.
2 Polar bears (mother and baby!), elephants, wild pigs, horses, rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, a petting zoo, plus many more! A great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Average temp is 34. Try contacting the zoo regarding availability of animals.
What day/time is the least busiest? I know Tierpark is huge, but I want to go when it's a little more quiet.

We arrived at about 11.00am and the ticket office was very busy - we waited about 10 minutes. However, this was August and once you get inside the zoo there are few crowds as it is so big. I don't think there is any need to worry about crowds.
