Not only was Beales serving alcohol, but when it started raining they shut the stages down… They took their golf carts and drove through the crowd of intoxicated people and had security push everyone… Full review by 596madilyng

The shuttle system is absolutely terrible. I paid $50 and they did not even check who paid so anyone can use it. The buses pick up and drop off in different locations every time so it is a constant g… Full review by U9709GGcarolineb
Where is a good place to park for the Beale Street Music Festival in May. I am not opposed to paying upfront for parking during the festival. I am staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Memphis so we need to drive in. Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter. cshaffer

There are also trolleys/buses that will get you pretty close... if the weather is good, you'll love walking on downtown memphis You may find a Free spot and take the Trolley on Main St... This year's lineup is hot!!! Have a blast! Also try central BBQ Gus's chicken and Makeda's Cookies when you get to the city!! you'll be glad you did
We are looking to start in New Orleans 2018 and see the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival late April 2018, then move on to memphis for the Beale street music festival, we also want to go to the Kentucky derby which is being run on saturday the 5th May 2018, question i am asking is, what is the best day for the beale street festival, we would be looking to drive back from Kentucky on the Sunday 6th May 2018.
