Bay Area Legal Aid's mission is to provide meaningful access to the civil justice system through free, quality legal assistance regardless of a client’s location, language or disability. We provide low-income clients with free civil legal assistance, including legal advice and counsel, effective referrals, and legal representation. We are the largest civil legal aid provider serving seven Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin (served via Napa and Contra Costa offices), Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara.
