We took an autumnal ramble through the woods. The mid-November weather was surprisingly mild and there was a carpet of brown and orange leaves under foot. We crossed the railway tracks and headed up …Full review by Swedishtomcat

After having grown up in Banstead I never knew this place existed. Beautiful woods with unique carvings and a slight eeriness about it. Full of character, atmosphere and different paths to take. Only…Full review by 589kayliem

My 3 and 4 year old loved the Narnia sculptures and there is den building depending on their age. There is a three mile trail but you could do a shorter stroll. My kids are good walkers so we did the walk but all the sculptures are the beginning of you don't want to do the walk. It is a wood and public land so no one way system but paths are relatively wide. It was quite busy when we went on a sunny day. Trying to remember if people had buggies. Would probably be ok . Bit bumpy and first bit up hill!

Hi Jan, Hope you have good weather. I just find it a nice place to walk the dog, though can get busy in nice weather and summertime. Can recommend The Rambles Rest in the Chipstead Valley nearby. Right, not the greatest botanist, but did come across this leaflet some time ago, won't let us put it here, as a website. But, if you look up Banstead Woods Leaflet, it should show. hope it helps. Best, Rob
